Cara Mengatasi Problem Resolusi Monitor Di Ubuntu

Beberapa waktu yang kemudian saya disibukkan dengan ulah si monitor. alasannya yakni sesuatu hal, saya coba memformat ulang PC ku yang tadinya Ubuntu 9.04 menjadi 10.04.

Tapi resolusi monitor mentok pada ukuran 800x600 saja.
hasilnya saya coba otak atik file xorg.conf dengan sedikit baca2 di x.org, dengan langkah2 berikut :

 $ sudo apt-get install xorg*

kemudian edit file yang ada di /etc/X11/xorg.conf

 $ sudo gedit /etc/X11/xorg.conf

dan kutambahkan satu baris code ini :

HorizSync       28-73

selengkapnya ibarat ini :

kemudian restart dengan perintah :

$ sudo /etc/init.d/gdm restart

jreeeeeng...!!! monitor kembali normal 1024x768
